Jason Smith

Jason Smith was born and raised in Vancouver. He began his legal career at one of Vancouver’s leading defence firms, where he defended hospitals, dentists, municipalities, businesses and individuals. He uses the unique knowledge and experience he gained as a defence lawyer to fight for people who have been injured due to medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, and unsafe property claims. Jason prides himself on providing a high level of service to his clients so that they can focus on their recovery.

Jason has represented clients in the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia and the British Columbia Court of Appeal. He achieved his Juris Doctor in 2017 from Dalhousie University. He served as the Director of the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service, where he represented students in various disputes with the University administration. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers Association of BC.

When Jason is not working, he is an avid softball player, hiker and traveller.
