Kristen Blake joined Slater Vecchio as an articling student in 2020. She represents clients in the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia.
Kristen grew up in White Rock, B.C. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Anthropology from the University of Victoria. She obtained her LL.B with Honors from Queen Mary University of London in 2019 and obtained an LL.M from the University of British Columbia, Peter A. Allard School of Law in 2020.
Prior to pursuing her dream of becoming a lawyer, Kristen was a political staffer with the BC Public Service and an International Election Observer in Russia and Ukraine. Kristen is passionate about helping people in need. She has worked on various girls education projects in Northern Ghana and has volunteered with pro-bono legal service centres to help low-income individuals navigate a variety of legal issues.
When not in the office, Kristen enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, snowboarding, paddle boarding, running and going to spin classes.
