Hailey Reid joined Slater Vecchio as an articling student in 2021 and has, during that time, assisted with representing clients in both the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia.

Hailey grew up in Vancouver before moving to Halifax, Nova Scotia to obtain her Bachelor of Arts and Law degree from Dalhousie University. During law school, she was a member of the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service and as a student advocate, Hailey provided students with support drafting submissions and attending hearings for academic appeals, academic integrity, and student conduct resolutions.

After obtaining her law degree, Hailey moved home to start her law career and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2022.

Her experience with advocating for others has become a focus that she wishes to keep central in her practice. She enjoys speaking to people and helping clients and colleagues alike find solutions to their problems. Hailey enjoys legal research, attending court, and meeting with clients.

Outside of the office, Hailey enjoys going on adventures with her Mexican rescue dog, Alfie.
