Michael Slater, K.C. is the founding partner of Slater Vecchio. The majority of his practice is confined to traumatic brain injury (TBI) and spinal cord injury cases. He has authored many articles and is a frequent presenter at Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia (TLABC) seminars. Michael has also chaired a number of TLABC seminars on traumatic brain injury.

Michael’s clients have been awarded some of the highest trial awards in traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury cases. He has been selected by his peers to be included in the publication The Best Lawyers in Canada in the field of personal injury litigation. Michael has also been named Vancouver Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers in 2019 and 2012.
