Camilla Arrica

Camilla started working at Slater Vecchio in August 2010 after receiving her Paralegal Diploma from Capilano University in 2009. Outside of the office Camilla enjoys playing softball, watching football, and spending time with her family.

Tracy Bank

Originally from Squamish, BC, Tracy joined Slater Vecchio in May 2005. As a senior paralegal, Tracy supervises the client intake process to ensure all files are managed timely and efficiently. She obtained her Paralegal Certificate at Capilano University in May 2005, and later returned part-time to obtain (with distinction) her Bachelor of Legal Studies in 2014. Away from the office, Tracy is always up for a new adventure and enjoys travelling and snowboarding.

Jessica Chung

Jessica is a paralegal assistant at Slater Vecchio. She has worked in personal injury litigation since 2010 and joined Slater Vecchio in 2015. Jessica grew up in Hong Kong and moved to Canada at the age of 13. She earned a joint BA in Sociology and Anthropology from SFU and enrolled in the paralegal program at Vancouver Community College. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Jessica D’Souza

Jessica joined Slater Vecchio in 2006. She moved to Vancouver in 1995 and has over fifteen years of experience in personal injury litigation. Jessica obtained a Legal Assistant Diploma from the Vancouver Community College in 1996 and a Paralegal Diploma at Capilano University in 2005.

Lesley Erickson

Lesley was born and raised in Lower Mainland BC. She received an Associate of Arts Degree from Douglas College in 2008 and a Paralegal Diploma from Capilano University in 2011. Lesley started with Slater Vecchio as a practicum student before joining the team permanently as a Paralegal in 2011. She has over seven years of customer service experience.

Nickolas Gallina

Born and raised in the Lower Mainland, Nick joined Slater Vecchio in 2017 after completing the Paralegal Diploma program at Capilano University. When not in the office, Nick can usually be found at the hockey rink or on the football field.

Sophie Gourdine

Sophie was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. She graduated with distinction from Capilano University's paralegal program in 2017 and maintained the Merits list in every term. Sophie joined Slater Vecchio in 2015. She is passionate about animals and considers herself to be a foodie. In her spare time, Sophie loves trying new restaurants, hiking, and spending time on Vancouver Island.

Naomi Griffin

Naomi is a paralegal at Slater Vecchio. She joined the firm in 2017 following 10 years of experience in foreclosure litigation. She graduated from Vancouver Island University with a BA in Journalism and Sociology in 2005. She then completed the paralegal program at Capilano University in 2007. Outside of the office, Naomi enjoys the outdoors, running and hiking.

Adrian Harte

Adrian has an LLB in Laws, from Griffith College Ireland and a Degree of Barrister at Law from the Honorable Society of King’s Inns, Dublin. He was called to the Irish bar in 2010 has worked as a criminal defense lawyer in Ireland and a litigator in both Ireland and London, UK. Adrian has worked on both plaintiff and defendant medical negligence cases. Adrian has his private pilot’s license and over 100 hours of flying time. He is working on obtaining a commercial pilot’s license in the near future.

Diana Heading

After completing her BA with a major in Political Science from UBC and her first year of Paralegal schooling at Capilano University, Diana joined Slater Vecchio as a student in 2008. Following her completion of the Paralegal Program in 2009, Diana continued her journey with Slater Vecchio as a Paralegal. Outside of the office, Diana keeps busy with her young family.

Daniel Helps

Daniel was born in Vancouver and currently calls North Vancouver his home. Daniel joined Slater Vecchio in early 2017. He graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science, and proceeded to obtain his paralegal diploma from Capilano University. When he is not helping clients in the office, Daniel enjoys playing bass guitar and spending time with his wife and pet bulldog.

Ilona Hodge

Ilona hails from Dunfermline, Fife in Scotland. She completed a law degree in 2012 from the University of Edinburgh and moved to Canada in 2013. A year later, she joined Slater Vecchio and began working as a paralegal in 2017. Outside of work, Ilona enjoys curling, cycling, and travel.

Ramona Kelly

Ramona has 15-plus years of paralegal experience, exclusively in personal injury litigation. Born in raised in Squamish, she completed the Paralegal Diploma program at Capilano University in 2001. In her personal life, she enjoys spending time with her young active family, travelling, camping, and hiking.

Mandy Lam

Born in Hong Kong, Mandy moved to Canada at age six. She graduated from SFU with a BA in psychology in 2008 and then moved into studies in law. First completing a legal administrative assistant certificate in 2009 from Capilano University, followed by a paralegal certificate from Vancouver Community College in 2015, Mandy has worked in plaintiff-side personal injury law since 2009. In 2011 she started at Slater Vecchio, first as a legal assistant and then as a paralegal in 2017. Her hobbies include travelling, hiking, and spending time with Bailey, her corgi.

Ashton McQueen

Ashton graduated from Simon Fraser University on the President’s Honour Roll in 2012, receiving a BA in Criminology. In 2014, she began the paralegal diploma program at Capilano University, earning distinction for her academic achievements by being placed on the Dean’s List consecutively for all semesters. In May 2016, she began a paralegal practicum at Slater Vecchio and was hired full-time on completion. Ashton brings over 12 years of customer service experience to the role. Outside of work she loves travelling, coordinating events, yoga, and spending time with friends and family.

Amy Mileusnic

Amy started at Slater Vecchio in 2017. She graduated from the University of Victoria with a BA in English Literature and Philosophy. After that, she taught English and travelled abroad. She then completed the Paralegal program at Capilano University and was on the Dean’s List for Academic achievement. In her free time, Amy enjoys travelling, hiking, soccer, and painting.

Heather Ogmundson

Originally from Newfoundland, Heather joined Slater Vecchio in 2006. Heather received a Bachelor degree in Criminology at Simon Fraser University in 1988 and completed the Paralegal Program at Capilano University in 2006. Outside of work her interests include reading and knitting.

Madison O'Neill

Madison was born and raised in Vancouver and has worked in personal injury law since 2012. She completed the Paralegal Certificate Program at Vancouver Community College and started as a paralegal at Slater Vecchio in 2017. Prior to that, she was a legal administrative assistant, first joining our firm in 2015. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, travelling, hiking, snowboarding, tennis, and more

Chloe Pavkovich

Chloe Pavkovich was born and raised in the Lower Mainland and joined Slater Vecchio in 2014. Chloe made the Dean’s List every semester while completing the Paralegal Program at Capilano University and graduated in 2014.

Katarina Provenzano

Born and raised on the North Shore, Katarina dabbled in graphic design studies at Emily Carr and biology at UBC before opting for a career in law. She attended Capilano University and completed a paralegal diploma before joining Slater Vecchio in 2017. She enjoys hiking, yoga, and knitting.

Hayley Strachan

Hayley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UBC and a Merchandise Marketing Professional Designation from FIDM in Los Angeles. After doing public relations in New York’s fashion industry, Hayley returned home to Vancouver. She completed the Paralegal Diploma program at Capilano University in 2015, graduating with distinction. She earned a spot on the Dean’s List each semester, and received the Watson Goepel Maledy LLP Paralegal Studies Scholarship award. Hayley joined Slater Vecchio in 2015. When she’s not helping clients, she can be found at the barn spending time with her horse.

Stephanie Steiner

Stephanie is a paralegal at Slater Vecchio, having joined the firm in that role in 2015. She graduated from McGill University with a BA in Psychology and Communications. She then completed the Paralegal program at Capilano University. Outside the office, Stephanie enjoys outdoor adventures including paddle boarding, snowboarding, and running.

Niki Storr

Niki joined Slater Vecchio in 2007. She graduated from the Victoria College of Art with a Diploma of Fine Arts and with Honours from Simon Fraser University with a BA (English Literature). In 2006, she obtained a Paralegal Diploma from Capilano University. Niki is highly involved in her community and coordinates many of Slater Vecchio’s volunteer activities including group Canadian Blood Services donations. Niki also keeps busy with strata councils for two buildings, fostering dogs through HugABull Advocacy & Rescue Society, volunteering in the kitchen at UGM, and as an active member of the Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild.

Meghan Stovell

Meghan was born in Vancouver and grew up in Tsawwassen, BC and joined the firm as a Paralegal in 2014. She received a BA with honours from the University of British Columbia in 2004 and obtained a Paralegal Diploma from Capilano University in 2014. During her studies to become a Paralegal, she was a recipient of the Notary Foundation of BC Scholarship, the Borden Ladner Gervais Scholarship, and the Real Estate Foundation of BC Bursary. Outside of the legal world, Meghan also has fourteen years of experience in the marine industry.

Lisa Taylor

Born and raised in Vancouver, Lisa studied political science at the University of Victoria and then completed the Paralegal program at Capilano University. She has been with Slater Vecchio since 2015. When she’s not at work, you can find her travelling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.

Merit Thorson

Merit graduated from the University of Victoria in 2015 with an Honours degree in Philosophy. She then went to Capilano University for the paralegal diploma program. In 2017, she joined Slater Vecchio as a practicum student and continued on full-time upon completion. Outside of the firm, Merit enjoys sports, snowboarding and hiking.

Winnie Wong

Winnie has worked in personal injury litigation since 1990. She completed both the legal secretary and legal assistant/paralegal programs at Vancouver Community College in 1993. Winnie joined Slater Vecchio in 2004. She enjoys travelling, trying out new recipes, and serving the community with her Lions Club.
