Background
James Buckley was called to the bar in 1996. James began working with Tony Vecchio and Mike Slater in 1997 and was part of the team of lawyers who joined Tony and Mike at the start up of Slater Vecchio in 1998. James has only ever practiced in the area of plaintiff's personal injury law. His practice is made up of a wide range of cases including those involving significant orthopedic and traumatic brain injuries. A significant portion of James' practice involves serious injuries to children and minors resulting from car accidents.
James has lectured at and chaired Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia seminars on topics including jury trials, personal injury trial techniques, brain injury cases and the development of trial lawyer practices.
