Background
Tony Vecchio together with Mike Slater founded Slater Vecchio on January 1, 1998. The majority of his practice is confined to Personal Injury Law, focusing on cases involving traumatic brain injury (TBI), significant orthopedic, spinal and psychological injuries, resulting from car, motorcycle and bicycle accidents as well as slips and falls and assaults in commercial and residential premises.
Tony has been counsel on some of the largest cases in British Columbia. He is engaged and retained routinely on cases involving serious and often complicated and catastrophic injuries. Tony is a frequent lecturer, speaker, and host of seminars dealing with personal injury trial techniques and the development of skillful trial paths.
Tony was the president of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia from 2000-2001, Governor and current State Delegate for the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia and State Delegate for the American Association of Justice. Tony has been awarded The Best Lawyers in Canada since 2006 and has been selected by his peers to be included in the publication in the field of personal injury litigation.
